Meet Nova đź’›
Nova is a 4-year-old corgi with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s quirky, energetic, and absolutely loves a good game of fetch. Her ideal day includes plenty of playtime followed by relaxing close to her favorite person. Nova is incredibly sweet and loyal, forming deep bonds with the people she trusts.
She is fully house trained and crate trained, and she knows her basic commands. Nova thrives on routine and would do best with someone who can continue reinforcing her training and provide her with both structure and plenty of exercise to match her high energy.
Nova will need to be the only pet in the home. She has experienced conflict with our other dog, and while this has been difficult, it has made it clear that she feels safest and happiest as the sole focus of her household. She also has some anxiety and would benefit from a patient, understanding adopter who is willing to continue working with her—especially with leash training—to help her build confidence.
You may notice Nova’s ear is a little different—she has an injury from a past altercation. It doesn’t slow her down one bit, but it’s a reminder of what she’s been through and how much she deserves a calm, loving environment moving forward.
This decision has not been made lightly. Nova is deeply loved, and finding the right home for her is incredibly important. She deserves a safe, supportive place where she can thrive, be understood, and be cherished for the amazing dog she is.
