Hi, I’m Nelly—a 11-pound bundle of spunk, sass, and pure joy, ready to be your copilot in life (and yes, I love car rides… especially when they end at a coffee shop patio ).
I’ve had a bit of a “don’t try this at home” origin story—I was hit by a car and attacked by a pack of dogs. But don’t worry, I’m basically a tiny superhero now. I had surgery, made my comeback, and these days I’m focused on the important things: toys, friends, and making you laugh every single day.
My personality? Think: playful, curious, a little stubborn (I know what I want!), and very, very loving. I’m the kind of girl who wants to say hi to everyone, keep tabs on what you’re doing, and then invite you to a quick game of tug-of-war.
I’m living with two dog besties right now, and let me tell you—we are a wrestling league. I would LOVE a small dog sibling in my forever home. Big dogs can make me a little shy at first, but tiny friends? Instant BFFs.
Here’s what else you should know about me:
-I’m mostly potty trained—just walk me out and give me a little encouragement and I’ve got it!
– I’m crate trained and sleep like a champ (though I won’t say no to snuggling in bed…)
-I might whimper for a minute when you leave, but I settle down quickly—especially if I have a furry friend nearby
-I’m still working on my leash skills, but I’m getting better every day
-Squirrels? Absolutely not. I will be monitoring them closely.
I love neighborhood walks, meeting other small dogs, playing with toys (seriously—let’s play), and tagging along on errands, patios, and coffee shop hangs where I can people-watch like a pro. I’m easy to bring with you and always down for the next adventure.
My dream home? One with a playful dog sibling would be amazing. If it’s just me and you, I’ll need lots of activity, playtime, outings (bonus points for latte stops) to keep my busy little brain happy.
