Little Mama, Big Heart!
Hi there! I’m Clarion—a 1-year-old, 15-pound shepherd mix and proud mama to five adorable little nuggets (born 3/16 and up for adoption soon!). Not too long ago, I was living under a car in Mexico doing my best to keep my babies safe. Now, I’m soaking up the good life indoors and seeing what a wonderful world this can be!
I’m a sweet, friendly girl who loves people—adults, kids, you name it. I’ll happily trot over for pets and snacks (I love snacks), and I’ve already shown that I’m eager to connect with my humans. I’m also dog-friendly, so I’d be happy to have a furry sibling in my future home. I’ll admit, if you walk in wearing a hat, I might give you a little bark, but don’t worry, I warm up quickly and will still come say hello!
Right now, my main job has been being the best mama I can be, so I’m still learning things like leash walking and routines—but I’m smart, food-motivated, and ready to learn. I’ve been doing great with going to the bathroom outside after just one initial accident, and I’m already showing signs of being a quick learner. I haven’t been left alone yet, so that’s still a bit of a mystery, but I’ve done just fine in the crate for car rides.
Pawsonality-wise, I’m attentive, gentle, and have that special “take me anywhere” kind of vibe. Once my mama duties are done, I’m going to blossom into such a fun little companion—whether that’s joining you on outings or just hanging by your side at home.
As for my dream home? I’m pretty flexible! I’d do well with kids, other dogs, or even as your one-and-only. I’m still just a pup myself and a very manageable size, too! Mostly, I’m just looking for a loving family ready to give me the life I’ve always deserved—and maybe one that can’t resist a bonus puppy or two 😉
