Help Duke Find His Next Chapter! 
We’re helping a neighbor find a loving home for her dog, Duke, during an incredibly difficult time. After suffering a stroke, she has been unconscious for the past seven weeks, and it’s becoming clear she may not be able to return home. 
In the meantime, Duke has been lovingly cared for—but now he needs a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and secure.
Duke is a large, older ( ~9 yrs old) neutered male, believed to be a Dogo Argentino mix. He is truly the definition of a good boy.
About Duke:• Dog-friendly & great with kids• Extremely well potty trained (he’ll even let himself out!)• No destructive behaviors—no chewing or getting into things• Calm, relaxed, and very affectionate• Still enjoys daily exercise and playtime
Duke has been nothing but easy, loving, and loyal while in our care. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people and be part of a home.
This is a heartbreaking situation, but we’re hoping something beautiful can come from it—Duke finding a family to love him just as much as he deserves.
