Description

An amazing companion in a very cute lab-like package!

Loyal? Check. Loving? Check. Top-tier snuggle artist and certified good girl? Check, check, check.

Meet Bianca, a sweet, smart, expressive, and delightfully quirky girl whose love languages are physical touch and acts of service (aka meeting her very serious belly-rub quota). If you’re looking for a dog who will lean into you, melt into your lap, and gaze at you like you hung the moon, Bianca is your gal.

Like many special dogs looking for a forever home, Bianca has known heartbreak. She was found alone in a field in San Bernardino, still wearing her jacket and with her dog bed beside her, likely abandoned and very confused. When The Animal Pad first got the call, she was described as a “paralyzed pregnant dog,” but in reality, sweet Bianca was simply terrified and frozen in fear.

Fast forward to today, and Bianca has blossomed. She’s an affectionate, easygoing, deeply loving companion who thrives on connection. She has a perfect medium-energy vibe, content to lounge and entertain herself during the day, but always up for walks, adventures, and a spirited game of fetch. She doesn’t need hours of exercise, but she can happily keep up with you on hikes and adapt beautifully to your lifestyle.

Bianca is whip-smart and highly food-motivated, which makes her an absolute joy to train. She is house-trained, crate-trained, non-destructive, and genuinely eager to please. Her leash skills are a work in progress, as she can get over-stimulated when she sees other dogs, but she is improving every single day and clearly wants to do the right thing.

Speaking of other dogs, Bianca can be a great friend to calm, balanced pups; she just needs slow, thoughtful introductions and a crate-and-rotate routine at first. Once she feels safe, she loves to run, play, and be silly with her canine buddies. Bianca also adores children, but is best suited to kids 7+ or kids who are dog-savvy, as Bianca doesn’t always remember her size.

When she’s not cuddling her people, Bianca’s favorite pastimes include:

  • *  Big sniffy adventures
  • *  Tossing her stuffies around with pure joy
  • *  Chewing on her beloved rubber balls
  • *  Watching for squirrels or other fluffy things she can chase (on that, Bianca has a high prey drive, so unfortunately no cats)

Bianca isn’t just looking for a home, she’s looking for her people. Someone patient, kind, and ready to receive a whole lot of love from a dog who has so much heart to give.

My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.  You can also check me out on Instagram at @breana_mahoney.
