Hi there! My name is Aveeno, and I’m a 2-month-old, 4-pound Terrier/Chi mix with the softest little heart (and okay, maybe the zoomiest energy too). I came from a hoarding situation out in the desert, but now I’m living my best fresh-start life and getting ready to find my furever home…maybe with you?
I’m a total puppy– think playful, curious, and always on the move! I love to run, fetch, wrestle with my dog friends, and explore every inch of the world around me. I’m super confident and not much fazes me, which means I’m always down for a new adventure. And when I finally run out of steam? I turn into the ultimate cuddle bug and will happily melt right into your lap like a cozy little Aveeno spa day.
I’m very dog-friendly and would really love a home with another pup to play with and learn from. I’m also curious about cats (okay fine, I might chase them a little, but it’s all in good fun). I like kids, but I am still working on my puppy manners, especially my mouthy, teething phase. So a home with dog-savvy or older kiddos would be best for now.
Training-wise, I’m off to a great start but still learning! I’m crate trained at night (as long as I’m nice and tired), and I’m working on potty training with puppy pads. I’m getting better every day, but I still have some accidents. I’ll need a family who’s ready to guide me with consistency and patience as I grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be. I can get a little anxious when left alone, so having another dog and a home where I’m not solo for long stretches would really help me thrive.
