A cat stuck in a dog’s body!

Chirp, chirp, fellow friends! My name is Wren, and I’m a 2.5-year-old spayed Terrier mix, weighing in at 12 pounds.  I’ve flown all the way from Tijuana, and I can’t wait to find my furever home!

Let me tell you, I’m a sweet and funny low-energy type of gal.  Some might even call me a couch potato.  I like to glide around the yard a couple of times a day, and then stop for hours and sunbathe.  Though I’m not too active, I live life to the fullest and like to make my people laugh (chasing my own tail and making dinosaur noises when playing with doggie friends are some of my favorite pasttimes!)  I also enjoy mealtime, getting snacks, being near my humans on the couch, and getting lots of attention.

As far as training goes, I’m completely potty-trained and will let you know when it’s time to do my business by walking to the door and waiting patiently.  I don’t mind crates, but I don’t even need one since I’m not the destructive type.  I’m not a fan of leashes, collars, or harnesses, though, so having a backyard to get my energy out and go potty is a must! Other than that, I’m a calm girl and don’t show any signs of anxiety when left alone.  I’m not much of a barker, either, and I don’t shed.  The only thing that ruffles my feathers, though, is being roughly pet.  Only gentle pets on my shoulders and back, please!

I think I’d do best in a mellow, low-energy home with no kids.  Doggie siblings would be A-OK, but I’d prefer them to be low-energy and on the small side, like me.  Kitties would probably be just fine.  Besides that, a backyard and lots of love and attention are essential for me to reach my full potential!

My adoption fee is $250 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/. You can also check me out on Instagram at @familydogconsulting.
