MY STORY
Here’s what the humans have to say about me:

Winnie is a ~2-year-old Shepherd mix who we have fostered for the past year independently. She is sweet, affectionate, highly food-motivated, and thrives on outdoor activity, great on leash, has excellent recall, and even runs alongside a bike. She knows basic commands and is generally good with other dogs, cats, and children.

When we took her in, she had never received vet care and was living in neglect. She was chained outside with a tight prong collar and visible wounds. We also discovered an infected chicken bone wedged in her mouth. Thankfully, she healed quickly and is now spayed, vaccinated, and otherwise healthy.

She  does have an ongoing incontinence issue. She is on Proin for incontinence and is a diaper queen! While she can be a bit unpredictable in confined spaces, she is a fast learner and wants to please. She needs an experienced dog lover as an owner and will give lots of kisses and love in return! She would do best in an active home with an experienced owner.
