A sweet melody of love!
Hi there! I’m Selena, a gorgeous 4-year-old, 55-pound Lab Mix. I’m in great health, have not yet been spayed, and can’t wait to find my furever home! I came all the way from Tecate in Baja California, where I lived freely on a ranch and raised some sweet puppies. Not all my pups made it, but my little Pepino did, and he’s already been adopted through TAP.
I’m a gentle, laid-back girl who’s super low-maintenance and well-behaved. I’m not much of a barker, and I absolutely adore being around people. Some of my favorite things are chewing on bones, snuggling up, and going for relaxing walks. My ultimate favorite, though? Cozy cuddles and just hanging out with my humans! I also enjoy sitting calmly at outdoor cafes or restaurants, people-watching under the table while you sip your coffee.
When it comes to training, I am quite the star! I’m fully potty-trained and crate-trained, and I’ve never had any accidents in the house. I’m also great on a leash and love being out and about. I am working on some mild separation anxiety, though, but only because I just love being close to my humans. I do best in a crate when left alone, as I’m a bit of an escape artist and can clear six-foot fences (even when tethered!).
I’d thrive in a home where I’m either the solo star or with medium-to-larger, mellow dogs like me. I do have a prey drive, so homes with cats or small dogs wouldn’t be the best fit. Since I adore people, I’d likely be great with kiddos, too!
