This fun loving “dood” is ready for you!
Hi! I’m Rowlf — your one-of-a-kind doodle dude! You know how they say life isn’t always a walk in the park? Well, mine sure started ruff. I was hit by a car in LA and broke my front leg. It’s not going to heal, but that doesn’t stop me from doodlin’ all over the place (zoomies, wagging, dancing for food—you name it)! I wore a cast like a champ for two months and even got neutered during that time. I needed meds to help calm me down, but I’m off all of them now and feeling great!
I’m 2 years old, 50 pounds, and I’m the fluffiest little shadow you’ll ever meet. Wherever you go, I go. Laundry? Let’s fold together. Sitting down? Oh perfect—finally, cuddle time. I’m super friendly with other dogs, though sometimes my energy can be a bit much for the more chill crowd. I love older kids who won’t mind if I occasionally forget how big I am. As for cats, I haven’t met any yet, so I’m not sure what I think of them.
I absolutely love going for walks, chasing balls, running around in grassy areas, and eating and drinking like it’s my full-time job. I’m also clever—I’ll sneak stuff off the counter and take it to my crate. I’m not shy about letting you know I don’t love designated crate time. Potty training is still a work in progress, but I can hold it for about five hours. Leash manners? I’m learning! I get excited and bark around other dogs. One thing I need help with is my separation anxiety. If you’re home and I can’t see you, I’ll cry. If you leave me out while you’re gone, I might do a little… redecorating. I’m working on gaining my confidence and I’m hoping to find a human who can keep me on a routine that helps me feel safe and sound.
I’m a total sweetheart who just wants to love and be loved. I’m goofy, loyal, and full of life. Once I bond with you, I’ll be your ride-or-doodle forever. I’d thrive with a family—especially one with another dog or older kids—to help me feel secure when you’re away. So what do you say? Let’s get out the sketch pad and doodle out our future together!
My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
