Adoptable: Ray: Courtesy Post

Age: 6 years old

Gender: Male

Breed: Terrier mix

Weight: 72 lbs

Personality: Ray is a loving and easy-going guy! He’s a good listener and is super smart and obedient. He’s energetic when he wakes up, but then sleeps until about 5pm each day until it’s time to go on his walks. Once it’s walk-time, though, he’s energetic and excited again. Ray loves other doggies (especially his brother, Ronnie), and it’s believed that he gets along well with kiddos of all ages (he’s spent a lot of time with a four-year-old with no issues).

Education: Ray is fully potty-trained and uses a doggie door to let himself in and out. He’s not the anxious type and has shown no symptoms of separation anxiety.

Favorite Activities: Ray enjoys walking, playing tug of war, and being with his brother, Ronnie.

Looking for: Ray can be with a family or with a single owner, just as long as he’s with someone who can give him lots of love and attention again.

Adoption Fee: $ 150

Background:  Ray was a stray that jumped in a car to escape the 110-degree heat in Arizona.  The owner of the car decided to take him in, and they lived together until his owner suddenly passed.  Losing his beloved owner has been really hard on Ray, as he was given lots of love, exercise, and attention, but he’s looking forward to finding his furever home.  Ray has already been neutered, and his health is in great shape.
