Pretzel – Twisting His Way into Your Heart!

Hi there, I’m Pretzel, a 1-2-year-old, 30-pound Golden Retriever mix with a heart as golden as my fur. I’ve been roaming the streets, but what I’m really searching for is a loving home and a family to call my own.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been hanging around the neighborhood, trying to make friends with all the dogs and people I meet. I can’t help but wag my tail and flash my smile whenever I see someone—especially if they have a dog with them! I’ve been trying to play with the dogs through the fence and get some attention and affection from the friendly folks in the area.

While I haven’t had a chance to visit the vet for a check-up or neuter just yet (we’re waiting until I have a safe place to recover), I have received flea and tick treatment. I’m a street dog right now, but that hasn’t dampened my spirits one bit!

I’m a pretty even-tempered guy—I don’t get upset when you poke or bother me, and I’m super easygoing when it comes to handling food. Maybe it’s because I’m hot and tired from my time on the streets, or maybe it’s just my naturally docile nature. Either way, I’m always wagging my tail and happy to see people.

I’ll need to learn some manners, but I’m very motivated by food and attention, so I’m sure I’ll pick things up quickly with a little guidance and love. I haven’t had much experience around kids or cats yet, but I’m friendly with dogs so far.
