Bring Home the Bacon with Miss P!

Howdy! I’m Pig.0—though my friends call me Miss P. I’m a 3-year-old, 40-pound terrier mix with a heart as big as a barn. I may have a name that sounds like I belong on a farm, but let me tell you, I’m all about living the sweet life with plenty of love and fun!

I was rescued while I was still healing, and I’ve been getting all the care I need, from medicated baths to keeping my feet and allergies in check. I’m on my Apoquel (~$88 per month) and Omega-3 supplements to keep my skin smooth and my tail wagging. Even though I still have a few bumps and bruises from my past, my spirit is as strong as ever.

I’m a super affectionate girlie who loves being included in every little adventure—even if I’m not a huge snuggler, I sure love being close to my favorite humans. I’m a bit of a chatty gal, and I’ll let you know (with a bark or a nudge) when I want you to come back when you wander off. I’m smart, curious, and learning new things every day! I can be a bit headstrong from time to time, but I’m highly food-motivated… a tasty treat always helps me get on track!

I love my walks and car rides. I haven’t had experience in my foster home with other pooches or cats, so I’m not sure what I think about them. I hope we’d be pals! I’m a great with kids, especially older ones who know how to give me space when I need it.

While I’ve had a long, ruff history of being crated in the past, these days, I’d rather roam free! I only visit my crate to grab my favorite toys. I’m still learning my potty habits perfectly, but I’m well on my way. I have a bit of mild separation anxiety when you’re away, but I’m working on that too.

If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion with plenty of personality—someone who’s as endearing as a little piglet—then I’m your girl! With a little patience, love, and training, I promise to be a treasure you’ll cherish every day. Ring the farm bell… Miss P is comin’ home!

My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
