The sweetest companion!

Hi, rockstars! My name is Penny Lane, and I’m a 10-year-old Shih Tzu Mix female, weighing in at 9 pounds. I have already been spayed, and as far as potty-training goes, I will let you know when I need to go out to do my business, which is quite often so access to a yard would be ideal.

Sadly, my life has been quite the rollercoaster. Back in May, I was rescued by TAP from the euthanasia list at an animal control center. I was found to have a large mammary mass which, upon a recent biopsy, has been determined to be cancerous and cannot be treated. But despite my health issues, I am a super sweet girl who lives for pets, snuggling, treats, and being outside. I don’t require a lot of walks or activity, and I don’t show any symptoms of separation anxiety. I get along well with kitties and other doggies, and because I can get scared easily, I would prefer older kids in the home.

Even though I’ve been around the block a few times, I’m a sweet older gal who deserves a loving family. I think I’d do best with someone who is patient and caring, which could possibly be an older person or couple. Regardless, I would make a loving and loyal companion to anyone who’d be willing to give me a chance and allow me a safe, loving home home to live out the rest of my life!

I am available to be forever fostered or my adoption fee is $150 and that includes continuous vetting care and support through TAP. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
