Loving and laidback!

Hi there! We’re Pablo and Jose, both 12-year-old Pug Chihuahuas, weighing in at 12 pounds.  We’ve been together almost all our lives, spending the last ten years with our former family.  Life has thrown us lemons in the form of immigration and visa policies, which we don’t understand and our pawrents had to make the heartbreaking decision to find us a new family. They have limited time. We’d like to continue our adventure together, and we’re excited to see what our futures have in store!

We’re affectionate boys who are laidback, low energy, and very sweet.  We both love to snuggle, get belly rubs, explore quiet outdoor spaces, lay out in the sun, and get treats.  Both of us also enjoy going on 1-2 walks per day and have great leash manners.  We love all humans and tend to get along well with other doggies (Compared to Pablo, Jose takes a little longer to warm up to doggie friends who are new to him).  Additionally, we’ve already been neutered, and our health is in tip-top shape.

Our ideal home would be one that had an outdoor space for us to explore – either a backyard or apartment patio.  We do fine on our own for short periods of time and don’t have any separation anxiety once adjusted to a new environment, but we’d prefer to have human company most of the day.  Therefore, a work-from-home situation would be pawfect.  Finally, we’d probably do best around older kiddos, but one of our foster family members is four years old, and we’ve been just fine around each other.
