A Perfect Match
Hi! I’m Match — a 7-month-old, 34-pound Catahoula mix with a heart full of love and a story that proves second chances are real. Life didn’t start out easy for me. I was one of about 20 dogs living on a property where we weren’t properly cared for. A court order took us away, and I ended up at a crowded shelter on the euthanasia list. Luckily, rescue swooped in just in time, and now I get to dream about my furever family.
Even though I’m still a puppy, I’ve got a calm, gentle soul. I’m not one to nip, jump, or get too rowdy. I walk beautifully on leash, seem to be potty trained and don’t struggle with separation anxiety. My favorite things? Snuggling up close, going for walks in the park or on the beach, and—most of all—being around other dogs. Having canine friends makes me feel safe and happy, and I’d do especially well in a home with one or more dogs to show me the ropes.
I haven’t figured out toys yet, but I have figured out that kids are great, cuddles are the best, and people can be trusted once I know they’re kind. Cats are a bit of a mystery to me, though my breed instincts might mean I’d prefer a home without them.
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate pup who’s happiest by your side (and even happier with doggie siblings to play and relax with), I might just be your pawfect Match!
My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
