Hi pals! My name is Lil Lucky and I am about 5 years old, female lab mix, weighing around 42 lbs. I was rescued wandering the streets of Hemet and taken in by my foster mama through Labrador and Friends. It is suspected that I had a litter or two once, but I am spayed now. I have been a good girl and fully bathroom and leash trained. I would love if the good folks of TAP could help some family and me get real lucky!
I am a total people pleaser and I love to talk(yes, talk!) to my family. Just watch the Chewbacca impression that I do in the morning as my ‘good morning’ greeting. I am a wonderful companion and a champion cuddler. My soft and soulful eyes speak volumes and I can be a fiercely loyal friend. I have been working with a trainer to ease my “boundary frustrations” on the leash. BUT, I love going to a supervised (by my trainer) yard play time visit on Saturdays with a variety of dogs. And, I have packed up easily with the dogs in my foster home. I have even welcomed a short term medical foster into our home. I adore kids and I have a natural mama like tendency to take care of them gently.
I would love a family who can allow me time to decompress and train me patiently to be a pawfect girl. I have made huge progress with my family and I would love to continue my upward rise.
