Konnichiwa, friends! My name is Kintsugi. Just like the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, my past has only made me stronger. At 2 years old and 37 pounds, I’m a Lab mix with a heart as golden as my name. I was found on the streets of Ensenada with a deep wound on my neck, but thanks to some kind humans, I’ve made a full recovery at TAPand am ready for my next chapter… Hopefully with you!
I’m a playful, gentle boy who loves food, pets, walks, and playtime. I’m friendly with everyone I meet– dogs, cats, and kids! I can be a little shy at first but give me time and I’ll come out of my shell. New experiences can be a little overwhelming, so I’d love a confident human to help show me the ropes. Once I warm up, my tail wags non-stop, and I’m as loyal and loving as they come!
I’m great on a leash and love my morning and evening walks. I’m crate trained and happy to relax when needed, though I do whine for a few minutes when left alone. Can you blame me? I just love being with my people! I’m still working on my potty training and may mark if I’m not supervised, but with some guidance and consistency, I know I’ll get the hang of it soon.
