Adoptable: June Bug: Courtesy Post

Age: 11 months old

Gender: Female

Breed: Shepherd mix

Weight: 45 lbs

Personality: June Bug was adopted from the San Diego Humane Society in January 2024 when she was about three months old. It’s unknown where she came from originally, but it’s believed she was transferred from Oceanside Humane Society. June Bug is a sweet and happy-go-lucky girl! She loves people and doggies. In fact, there isn’t another pup that she doesn’t want to be friends with. She is high-energy and wants to be playing/doing something all the time.

Education: June Bug is leash-trained, potty-trained, and crate-trained. She is super smart and food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. She can already sit, stay, and lay down. June Bug is still a puppy, so she can get a bit mouthy and play bite/paw, as well as jump up on new people. However, she redirects quickly and is currently working on the “leave it” command.

Favorite Activities: June Bug loves to play fetch, as well as go to the dog park/doggy day care.

Looking for: June Bug would do best in an active home and with someone who can give her the exercise she needs (ideally a backyard or multiple walks/outings a day). She’d do best with a doggie sibling but probably no cats or small pets since she desperately wants to play with them (in a non-aggressive way). Kiddos would be fine, but since she still is a puppy, she has the tendency to jump up at people and play-bite.

Adoption Fee: $ 250
