He’ll brighten your winter days!

Brrrrr! I’m Jack Frost, and I’m a neutered, 11-month-old, 20-pound Poodle mix male looking for my furever home this winter. I traveled all the way from Los Adoptables in Ensenada and landed in a flurry of excitement at TAP. My health is in tip-top shape!

I’m a snuggly, good-natured, and loving little guy who will follow you from room to room just to soak up your warmth. While I have bursts of playful puppy energy, I also know how to settle down quickly and enjoy a cozy evening by the fire. My favorite activities include destroying plush toys, playing fetch with tennis balls, snuggling in the bed/on the couch, stealing dirty socks to cuddle with, laying in warm laundry, and being just the tiniest bit naughty sometimes. I also love making new doggie friends and am very tolerant of kiddos – big and small!

As far as training goes, I’m a quick learner and eager to make you proud. I’ve pretty much mastered potty-training and thrive when on a consistent schedule. Leash training is coming along well, but I still need work and I’m improving and growing more confident every day. Though I may get excited at first while outside, I can calm down and walk nicely beside you with a few cues. Finally, crate training is a work in progress at the moment. I tend to protest and need to continue my carte training and learn how to self soothe when you are gone.

I think I could be really happy in all types of homes since I’m so adaptable – but would really thrive with a doggie sibling(s), with a family with children or teenagers, or someone working in or outside the home. I do require regular activity each day (I prefer three 15-20-minute daily walks) as I am still a puppy. I’ll thrive with anyone who can give me the love and attention that I deserve, and continue my training.

Are you ready to make a snow angel like me part of your family? If so, my adoption fee is $700 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
