Ciao, amici! I’m Giada, a 1-year-old, 30-lb Shepherd mix, and I’m here to spice up your life like a homemade marinara sauce. Call me multicultural– even though my name has Italian roots, I was rescued south of the border in Ensenada. I may not be whipping up pasta in the kitchen, but I sure do love food—so much so that I might try to sneak a peek at what’s cooking on the table (don’t worry, my foster is working on my manners!).
Like any Food Network worthy dish, I have the perfect balance of flavors—a little chill, a little spice, and a whole lot of love. I enjoy playing chase, chewing on my favorite toys, and hanging out close to my people. I’m sweet, affectionate, and always wagging my tail, ready to serve up a big helping of happiness.
I get along well with dogs and even cats, though sometimes I get a little excited and want to play chase (hey, it’s in my nature!). As for kids, I haven’t been around little ones much, but I’m a gentle girl who would likely do fine with respectful kiddos.
When it comes to training, I’m already house, leash, and potty trained, and I don’t have separation anxiety—though I do get extra excited when you come home (what can I say, I’m passionate!). Sometimes at night, I feel a little nervous, but a cozy spot near you makes me feel safe.
I’d thrive in an active home that loves adventure—but I can also enjoy a laid-back lifestyle as long as I get my daily walks. Whether you have other pets or not, I’ll fit right in as long as I get love, companionship, and maybe a taste of your dog-friendly Italian leftovers.
