Just a bud waiting to bloom!

Hi fellas! My name is Diogenes, and Dio for short! I am a 2.5 year old, neutered male Siberian Husky mix, weighing about 52 lbs. I came from a bad hoarding situation in Mississippi and boy, am I glad that TAP rescued me! They have the best fosters and I am at the bestest one where I am learning to overcome my anxieties and be more confident. I have come a long way since I have been with my foster mama! I am fully bathroom and crate trained, and just learning leash walking.

I came from a troubled situation and have made great strides with a TLC. I was nervous about dog foster siblings, but I have done really well with them since they are so calm. For my fears, calm mellow dogs would be ideal. They have even mentored me to build confidence! I have no experience with cats and kiddos. I am quite athletic and love to romp around in the yard! Maybe we can do some fun obstacle training? I have a lot of love in my heart and after getting comfortable at this home, I now request pets!

I really cant wait to go to my furever family! I would do best in a calm and mellow environment where I can blossom and thrive! A safe space for my retreat will really help me. Calm dogs who can mentor me? Pawfect! I am not sure about kids and cats yet, and my pawrents should be able to advocate for my space and mellowness. I am taking Trazodone (~$11 month supply) and Gabapentin (~$15 month supply). Do you think you can be my everything?

My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
