Callie is a sweet, soulful pup with a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. She’s a cuddle bug who thrives on affection and enjoys nothing more than curling up next to her favorite human after a game of fetch or a romp in the great outdoors.

She’s happiest off-leash in nature, where she can explore at her own pace—leash walks in busy areas can be overwhelming for her, but she’s a star on quiet trails and open hikes. Callie knows her basic commands and is eager to please.

Callie does have separation anxiety, which is currently managed with Trazodone. She’s also shy and cautious at first, especially around men, but give her a few minutes and she’ll be your best friend tail wags and all. Despite her fears, she’s never shown any signs of aggression.

She’s great with cats playful but gentle and would do well with a calm, older dog companion. High-energy dogs can be a bit much for her at first, but with time and patience, she adjusts beautifully.

Callie is looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe, be herself, and be part of the family. If you’re patient, kind, and ready for a loyal companion, Callie might just be your perfect match.
