Hi there, I’m Birdie! I’m a 1.5-year-old Golden Doodle with 37 pounds of fluffy and a golden personality. You could say I’m a “rare bird”—full of love, energy, and a touch of quirkiness that makes me one-of-a-kind. Wherever you go, I’ll be your shadow or your “wing woman.”
I’ve had a bit of a bumpy start to my young life, moving around and trying to find the pawfect perch to call home. I’ve been with a loving foster who knows I deserve a nest where I can truly spread my wings—a home with a yard to zoom around in, lots of love, and maybe even another dog to show me the ropes.
I’m a goofy, high-energy girl who loves treats, belly rubs, and learning new tricks. I like kids, I’m friendly with other dogs, and I’ve even met a few cats. At the dog park or beach, I’m in my element, and I’ll follow you anywhere with my wagging tail and sparkly spirit.
Even though I’m a sweet girl, I can be leash reactive when I see other dogs. I’ve made big improvements with training and am eager to keep learning. I also have a touch of separation anxiety—when you fly the coop, I might bark or scratch for a bit before settling down. I’d love a family who’s around most of the time and can help me feel safe and secure.
