The sweetest little outlaw in town!

Hi there! I’m Bandit—and I’m sure to steal your heart! I’m a 1-year-old, 30-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix with the classic outlaw look—mask and all. My only crime these days is excessive cuddling and maybe trying to sneak an extra treat (or five).

My story started on a little island called Saipan. Life there wasn’t easy—lots of dogs like me don’t get the chance to leave. I was scared of everything and everyone back then, but thanks to the kind folks at Saipan Humane Society, the Banfield Foundation, and my amazing foster humans, I made it off the island and to San Diego.

Looking at me now, you’d never know I used to be afraid of people. Now, I’m a total cuddle bug who loves belly rubs, long hikes, and snoozing next to my favorite humans. I warm up fast, especially if snacks are involved.

I’m great with other dogs and would love a playful pup who can be my buddy. Haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I feel about them. Kids? Yep—I like them too, especially the respectful, kind ones who give me space to warm up.

I’m house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained (though I’d much rather sleep in your bed…just saying). I don’t have any separation anxiety, I listen well, and I’ve got the perfect balance of zoomies and chill. Whether it’s a hike or a nap, I’m in!

I’ve come so far and know that I’ll continue to grow even more once I find my furever home. I’m loyal, loving, and ready to find my partner in crime! If you’re looking for a stealthy sidekick with a heart of gold, let’s plan our great escape together!
