Adoptable: Bandit, the cat

Age: 1.5 years old

Gender: Male

Breed: Domestic Shorthair Tuxedo

Weight: 11 lbs

Personality: Super sweet, curious like a cat! Not too fond of getting picked up.

Education: Litter box trained

Favorite Activities: Watching the birds outside and playing with his toys. If he gets bored he likes to go around opening cabinet doors to see what's behind them!

Looking for: Any loving home as he is very adaptable to new people and places. Would love the companionship of another friendly dog or cat he could play with, but would also be fine as a solo pet as long as he gets plenty of attention from his person/people. He was not bothered by the presence of kids and did come up to them and let them pet him, but would recommend maybe older kids who wont try to pick him up/handle him too much till he's more comfortable. Should be an indoor cat only, but if given the opportunity to escape, he might be difficult to get back....So hopefully a family/person who is able to close doors quickly behind them and has screens on windows.

Adoption Fee: $ 75

He’s two paws up!

Meow! My name is Bandit, and I’m a 1.5-year-old Domestic Shorthair Tuxedo kitty, weighing in at 11 pounds.  I’ve already been neutered, I’m litter box-trained, and my health is in purrfect shape.

My journey began when I was adopted from SDHS as a kitten.  I then went on to live in an apartment with my owner who sadly passed away.  While growing up, it appears I was exposed to doggies, so I’m generally a fan of all animals.  However, I wasn’t handled too much so I don’t like being picked up.

I’m a super sweet guy, with a soft, shiny coat.   I make cute-sounding mews and love everyone I meet.  I’m young, playful, and adaptable to new people and environments.  I’m a skilled jumper and like to check out all counters, tables, and shelves that are accessible.  My favorite activities include watching birds outside and playing with my toys.  When I get bored, I also like to open cabinet doors to see what’s behind them!

I’d do best with a furry sibling – either a friendly kitty or doggie I could play with.  But, I’d also do just fine as the solo pet in the home, too, just as long as I got plenty of attention from my humans! Kiddos are A-OK with me, but I’d prefer older ones since they can better respect my boundaries.  Other than that, I’m an indoors-only kitty, so I’d appreciate an owner/family who would be diligent in closing doors and windows behind them.

My adoption fee is $75 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here:https://www.jotform.com/form/203644795041153
