Personality: Jones is truly amazing—the perfect family dog. He’s a total lover boy and an absolute sweetheart. He’s a very chill, low-energy guy who loves to cuddle, nap, and occasionally play a relaxed game of fetch with his toys.

Education: He’s potty trained but needs regular outings every 4–5 hours; while not crated, he’ll nap in his open crate by choice. He’s a bit strong on leash—especially when he really needs to go—and can be a little stubborn at times.

Looking For: Jones would thrive in a home with a yard or a place where he can relax outside—he loves being outside. He’d enjoy having a dog buddy but would be just as happy as the only pup, as long as he gets love and attention. His ideal home is with someone who works from home or is around often, since he’s used to that and really values companionship. He’s great with kids and would also make a wonderful companion for someone older. He doesn’t need constant attention, but he definitely notices when you’re gone and will be waiting at the door for your return.

Hey there, friends! My name is Jones, and I’m a lovable 3-year-old Lab mix weighing in at 63 pounds. I’m also a proud survivor of TVT and just the sweetest guy you could ever meet—ready to bring lots of love and sunshine into a lucky home!

I’ve been told that I’m a pretty amazing boy and would make a perfect family pup. I adore kids, am super loyal, and have a heart as big as my paws. I’ve got a chill, laid-back vibe and don’t need tons of exercise to be happy. Some of my favorite things include playing with doggie buddies, snoozing, cuddling, going for walks and car rides, playing fetch, and just relaxing outside while watching the world go by.

When it comes to manners, I’m fully potty-trained – I just need a bathroom break every 4-5 hours. I haven’t spent too much time in crates, and while I walk decently on a leash, I can be a bit strong-willed (and strong-bodied!), so I may pull a little. The good news? I’m not the anxious type and don’t have any separation anxiety. I’m also in good health, and I haven’t yet been neutered.

My dream home would be with a loving family – maybe with kids or even an older couple looking for a gentle companion. I’d be happy with doggie siblings, but I’d do best in a cat-free home (those whiskers are just too tempting to chase)! A backyard would be amazing, and I’d really love a home where someone is around most of the day. After all, I thrive on companionship.
