A ball of happiness!

Hi there! I’m Frankie, and I’m a 4-year-old, 55-pound Lab mix with a big heart and an even bigger wagging tail! I was rescued from ESLR in Ensenada, and now I’m ready to start my next adventure—with my forever family!

Even though my past wasn’t always easy, I’m all about looking on the bright side. I’m a happy-go-lucky guy who loves being around my people, sniffing out all the best smells, and wagging my tail like it’s my full-time job! I’ve got a moderate energy level—I love going on walks, hikes, and outings to coffee shops and dog parks, but I’m also great at kicking back and relaxing when it’s time to chill. Some of my favorite things? Plushie toys, chew toys, naps with my foster brother, and cuddling on the couch!

I get along with everyone—humans (even kids!) and other dogs. I’d love a home with a doggy sibling, but I’d also be totally happy as the only pup, as long as I get lots of love and playtime!

As for my manners, I’m mostly potty trained—though I might mark a little at first and sometimes struggle to hold it if I’ve had a lot of water. I’m crate trained too! I just need a little treat to go in, and I like my crate covered to feel cozy. I might whine for a few seconds but settle down quickly. My leash training is coming along great—I barely pull, especially with treats and positive reinforcement! I do have a little separation anxiety, but if I get a nice walk and some playtime beforehand, I do just fine on my own for a few hours.

I’d love a home where I get daily walks and some playtime with my toys. Whether your home is mellow or active, I can fit right in! The most important thing? Lots of love! I promise to bring joy, snuggles, and plenty of smiles every single day. My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
