Hi there, I’m Oreo! Just like milk’s favorite cookie, I’m a total sweetie. I’m a 1-year-old, 25-pound Pomeranian mix, and I’m looking for my furever home! My journey started when my previous owner, who loved me very much, had to make the tough decision to surrender me due to allergies. But don’t worry—I’m ready to find my pawfect match!
I’m an energetic pup who absolutely lives for walks. Seriously, I wiggle with excitement the second I see my leash! I also love playing with other dogs and can get a little vocal during playtime (what can I say? I’ve got a Husky side that likes to chat). When I meet new people, I can be a bit shy at first, but if you’ve got a tasty treat in hand, I’ll warm up to you in no time. Speaking of people, I’ve been around older kids (8-10 years old), and I did great with them! Since I can get a little nibbly when I play, I’d probably do best in a home with older kiddos who understand my playful ways.
When I’m not busy being a social butterfly, I know how to chill too. I’m fully potty trained and settling into crate life pretty well (though I’ve been rocking the cone of shame lately, so I haven’t had much crate time). I do get a little sad when my humans leave, but don’t worry—I’ll whimper for just a few minutes and then settle down like a good boy. I’m still working on my leash manners because I get so excited to meet other dogs on walks, but I’m learning quickly.
I’d love an active home where I can get my energy out, and if you’ve got other dogs, that’s even better! I love having a furry friend to play with, but I’d be just as happy soaking up all the attention from my humans too.
