Personality: Tater was surrendered to a rural shelter in February 2022 when his owner fell ill and could no longer take care of him. Tater is a friendly and loving dog who makes it his mission to meet new friends wherever he goes! A total lap dog at heart, he also has a curious nose that could lead him on endless adventures. Tater enjoys cuddling up for TV time just as much as he loves sniffing around outdoors. While he gets along well with most dogs and cats, he can be a bit protective of his belongings (he wishes everything was his, can we blame him?!)
Education: Potty trained, Crate trained, Leash trained.
Favorite Activities: Loves to sniff, loves to learn (especially when it involves jumping or running)- He loves to do puzzles/ sniff mats, play tug and cuddle
Looking for: Tater would thrive in a low-chaos home with no small children, where the environment is calm and structured. His ideal family would be active, enjoy exploring new places, and include him in their adventures. Tater would do best with laid-back dogs, preferably females, who aren’t bothered by a companion that occasionally pushes boundaries. He’s independent and handles alone time well, making him a great fit for someone with a busy schedule. That said, he also enjoys his personal space, so a family that respects his need for quiet moments will help him feel right at home.
