Adoption Fee: $ 250

A family abandoned their five dogs at home, leaving them in distress. The foster managed to find homes for two of them, but the others were headed for a kill shelter in Riverside, and she couldn’t let that happen. You can see the sadness in each dog’s eyes; they knew their family was gone. They used to live with kids aged 1, 6, 13, 15, and 18.

At first, Malina will bark quite a bit, but she calms down and relaxes once she knows she’s safe with you. She could benefit from more socialization. Malina has been around children since she was young, living with kids aged 1.5, 6, 11, 13, 15, and 18. She has never been around cats and has primarily been with her three sons and their dad. It’s unclear how she interacts with other dogs outside her pack. Malina was dewormed and received her DHPPC shot on 3/14/23. She is a 2-year-old female and is now spayed as of 10/28/24
