Hi! I’m Thelma Lou, a 4-year-old spayed female Pug Chihuahua mix, with 19 lb.
I was found roaming pregnant on the streets of Tijuana in 2024. I got rescued and gave birth to 5 babies.
I got adopted but by no fault of my own, I need a new home. Could that be you?

As a good Chihuahua I’ve got a strong voice and may bark to unfamiliar sounds or people passing by, just to keep you well informed.
I can be a bit anxious at times and may feel shy around men initially but with a little patience and a lot of love, I warm up beautifully. Once I feel safe, you will meet the biggest love bug ever.

If I could design my perfect day, it would be packed with adventure and affection. Picture this: a morning sniffari to explore all the exciting scents, some thrilling lizard chase, zoomies in the yard, and some quality playtime with my favorite stuffed toys. After all that fun, I’m all about snuggling up for a cozy cuddle session and watching TV with my human.

I’d absolutely thrive with someone who’s home most of the time and can shower me with love and attention. That said, I’m totally fine on my own too, since I don’t have separation anxiety.  A yard to explore or older kids to play with would be a fantastic bonus, though not a must-have.
I’d also benefit from the company and guidance of a mellow and mature dog to help me grow in confidence and feel even more secure in my new home.

I’m playful, affectionate, and full of personality. Whether we’re adventuring outside or relaxing indoors, I’ll be your loyal sidekick through it all.
