Personality: Very sweet, cuddly and friendly, very gentle and great with kids. Stevie is very curious and always trying to explore outside. She has mild separation anxiety but settles quickly and is not destructive.

Stevie – Your Snuggle-Ready Adventure Buddy!

Hi there! I’m Stevie — a 5-year-old, 36-pound mixed-breed sweetheart who’s equal parts snugglebug and explorer. I was rescued from the “ruff” ESLR hoarding house in Mexico, and now I’m ready to trade that past for a cozy, loving furever home.

If you’re looking for a loyal girl who can keep up with all the vibes, I’m your match. Need a cuddle on the couch? I’ll be right there. Want a buddy for a beach run, fetch session, or long sniffari? Say no more. Planning a hike? I’ll happily lead the way (on leash — I’m a bit of a flight risk, so I need supervision when we’re adventuring!).

I’m super sweet, friendly, and always curious about the world outside. I love sniffing everything, chewing my fluffy toys, playing fetch at the beach, and curling up with you afterward. I adore kids, too! I can do well with many dogs, but I’m at my best with calm or smaller pups who don’t get in my face — reactive dogs can make me reactive, and I prefer a peaceful environment.

I’m leash-trained and not destructive at all, though I’m still working on potty training. I’m not a crate girl, but I do fine when you leave; I might whimper for a minute, but then I settle down. My only big note is that I can be an escape artist, so I need someone who will keep a close eye on me when I’m not leashed — safety first!
