Lovely Little Luna (aka Miss Sass!)

Hi! I’m Luna, but some people call me Sassy, and honestly, both names fit me pretty well. I’m about 1–2 years old, 15 pounds, and still learning how to trust the world after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Life hasn’t always been easy, so I can be timid, especially with men or when things move too fast around me. But with patience, love, and a calm environment, I really shine.

I love going on walks, sniffing around the beach, cuddling up with my favorite person, and of course—treats and bones. I’m crate trained, working on my bathroom manners and leash skills, and I do whimper a bit when left alone, but I settle down quickly. I’m also on a routine with medicated baths twice a week to keep me feeling my best. What gal doesn’t love a spa day? 

The perfect home for me would be quiet and gentle, with adults who understand I need time to come out of my shell. I might be okay with a calm dog buddy, but kids and fast-paced households aren’t my style. Once I feel safe, though, I’m sweet, sassy, and so affectionate—I’ll happily follow you around just to be part of the group.
