Personality: Roxy is medium energy and loves going on walks but will also chill in her crate or on the couch. She is the best cuddler and would sit on your lap while you watch TV as long as you let her. She doesn't have separation anxiety, just whines for a few minutes in her crate when left alone. Roxy loves following her people around and wants to be in the same room with them. She's super happy and friendly with everyone she meets, dogs and people, and a fun girl to have around.

Education: Ruth is completely potty trained. She is also crate trained; she whines for about 5 minutes in a crate but then settles. She is very strong and pulls on the leash on walks and is working on her leash training.

Favorite Activities: Going for walks and hikes, and she probably would be a good running buddy. Playing with other dogs and with toys. But most of all - CUDDLING!

Looking For: Roxy likes to be active and would enjoy an active home but would also be ok with a mellow home as long as she gets to walk every day. She is great with other dogs and with kids, although she likes jumping on people, so she would be best in a house with older kids. She would love to have a dog buddy if possible, but people are her favorite, and cuddling is her specialty!

Hi pals! I’m Roxy, a 5-year-old, 42 pound, terrier mix. I’m equal parts adventure partner and professional snuggler! I’ve been through a lot in my life, but those chapters are behind me now. What matters most is who I am today: a happy, loving girl who just wants to be close to her people and soak up all the pawsitive vibes!

I’m a sweet shadow who will happily follow you from room to room, curl up on your lap during TV time, and stay there as long as you’ll let me. Cuddling is my absolute favorite activity — truly an elite-level skill of mine. I also love walks, hikes, and playing with other dogs. I have medium energy: I’m always up for an outing, but I’m just as content chilling on the couch or relaxing in my crate afterward.

I’m dog-friendly and enjoy my furry foster sibling, though people are definitely my favorite. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure what I think of them. I’m friendly with everyone I meet and love being part of the action. I do jump up when I’m excited (I just get so happy!), so I’d probably do best in a home without very small kids unless they’re sturdy and dog-savvy. With a little continued training, I know I can work on my manners — especially on leash, since I’m strong and tend to pull when I’m excited to explore.

More good news? I’m fully potty trained, I settle quickly in my crate when you leave, and I don’t have separation anxiety — I just prefer being wherever you are. I play with toys sometimes, but honestly? If I had to choose between toys and cuddles, cuddles win every time.

Why adopt me? Because honestly, I’m a really, really good dog. I’m affectionate, social, fun, and endlessly loving. I’d thrive in a home where I get daily walks, lots of human attention, and maybe a dog friend to hang out with — though I’d be just fine as your one-and-only too. Active home, mellow home… as long as there’s love and time for me, I’m in!
