Description

Hi there! I’m Rosie — a two-year-old spayed Shepherd Mix with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. I am one of the lucky ones who managed to escape the dreaded Ellos Son La Razon shelter in Mexico, and now I’m a 43-pound bundle of love who’s so ready to find my forever family!

I’m a high-energy gal with lots of personality and tons of love to give. I’m smart, curious, eager to learn, and yes… a little bit mischievous in the cutest ways. I’m fully potty-trained and crate-trained, and I’m working hard on perfecting my leash manners.

Some of my favorite things include going on walks, playing tug-of-war, chewing on my toys, and sniffing all the smells. I can get a little anxious when I’m left alone, but I settle down quickly once I’m in my kennel.

You might notice my tongue hangs out sometimes – I’m missing a few teeth on one side, so it likes to make surprise appearances! I hope you don’t mind a little extra silliness, because I promise it comes with tons of charm. I’m not picky about food or toys and I’m just grateful for everything I’m given.

I’d thrive in an active home and would be happy with another young pup (or even a kitty!), but I’d also do great as your one-and-only. I haven’t met anyone I didn’t like, and I’m likely kid-friendly — especially with older kids who can play and keep up with me.

If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, playful companion, I’d love to meet you! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
