Hi there! My name is Ragnar, and I’m a 3-year-and-5-month-old Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix, weighing about 70 pounds of pure love. I was rescued from ESLR in Mexico, and ever since then, I’ve been ready to start my next chapter with a forever family!

I’m a sweet, fun-loving, and affectionate boy in great health, and I’ve already been neutered. I absolutely love staying active – whether it’s going for walks, runs, hikes, or playing a good game of tag. I usually get along well with most dogs I meet, though I haven’t had much experience around cats yet. I’d also do best in a home without kiddos.

As far as my training is concerned, I’m fully potty trained and walk nicely on a leash.  I’m crate-trained, too, but tend to howl a bit in the mornings when I’m ready to start my day.  I can be a little unsure when new people approach too quickly, so I’d love someone who can help advocate for me and give me time to feel comfortable in new situations.

I would thrive in an active home where I can have a daily “job,” continue my training, and stay mentally and physically engaged. A doggie sibling would be great, but I’d also be perfectly happy being your one and only. While I don’t have any separation anxiety and do fine on my own, I’d love someone who’s home most of the time to keep me company.  In return, I promise to be your most loyal and loving companion!
