Paul’s Your All-Star Teammate! 

Batter up! Oops! I mean, hi pals!  I’m Paul Skenes — an 8-year-old, 54-pound Lab/Shepherd/Pit mix, straight outta Mexico and ready to hit it out of the park with my furever family! I may not throw a 100-mph fastball, but I sure know how to steal hearts.

I’m a happy-go-lucky guy with an easygoing temperament. I’m the kind of dog who’s always wagging his tail and cheering you on from the dugout. I get along great with dogs, cats, and kids, and my foster family says I’m a total team player. Whether we’re taking a walk, cuddling on the couch, or heading to the beach (my favorite field!), I’m just happy to be in the game with my people.

I’m house-trained for the most part — still working on my marking, but hey, even pros have things to practice. I may zig zag a bit, but walk nicely on leash and sleep like a champ in my crate at night. I do get a little anxious when left alone, I might bark or scratch for an inning before settling down, so I’d do best with someone who’s home often or can take me along on their adventures.

I love pets, cuddles, and hearing that I’m a “good boy” (I really never get tired of that). I’ve got just the right mix of mellow and playful — happy to lounge when you want to chill, but ready to rally when it’s time for fun!
