Double the Love, Double the Snuggles (with my sis, Isabela!)
Hi friends! My name is Lisy, and I’m a 1.5-years-old, 8-pound Chi girlie with a gentle heart and a built-in bestie—my sister, Isabela. We were found together in a crate outside of TAP HQ, and ever since then, we’ve been inseparable.
I’m a sweet, affectionate little lap dog who loves cuddling with my humans. I can be a bit shy at first and get startled by new things—like sudden movements, loud noises, or unfamiliar people. With a little patience, I warm up and show my soft, loving side. I’m learning that the world isn’t so scary, especially when I have my sister by my side to help me feel brave.
My energy is low to medium, and I’m happiest doing the simple things: sunbathing, sniffing around outside, chewing on toys, and curling up for naps. I’m still getting the hang of walking on a leash, but I’ve made great progress! I like to take my time and observe everything around me. Stroller rides are also a favorite—I sit nicely like the pint-sized princess that I am.
At home, I’m a well-behaved little lady. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and do great in a playpen as long as my sister is with me. When we’re alone together, we relax, nap, and keep each other company—no separation anxiety here! I do still have some puppy habits, like occasionally chewing on things I shouldn’t, but I’m learning more every day.
I can be a little unsure around other dogs at first and tend to hang back, but I’m starting to get curious. I haven’t met cats or kids yet, but I may do well with slow, gentle intros. Because I can be sensitive, a calm and patient home would help me continue to build confidence.
I’m a tiny cuddle bug with so much love to give. I may be a little shy at first, but once I trust you, I’ll be your loyal little shadow—snuggled up beside you, always.
Our ideal home is one that will welcome both of us with open arms. We don’t need a ton of exercise, but we do need lots of love, patience, and a cozy space to feel safe. We’re okay being left alone for a few hours, as long as we have each other—but we’d love a home where we can continue learning and cuddling our way into your hearts.
My adoption fee is $250 ($500 for Isabela and me) which includes my spay, vaccinations, and microchip. If you’d like to meet me, please fill out the form here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
