Description

Meet Lexi – A Tender Soul Ready for Her Second Chance

Hi, I’m Lexi, a sweet and gentle 2 years old, 37 lb Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a story that’s shaped me into the resilient girl I am today. I’m spayed and healthy and ready to begin the next chapter of my life. Could that be with you?

I came from a heartbreaking dog hoarding situation in Ensenada, Mexico. It was a tough start, but I’ve never let it dim my spirit. My foster mom calls me “the sweetest, most gentle girl” she’s ever met, and she believes I deserve a home filled with kindness, patience, and love. I think she’s right.

Being in a real home is still new to me, so I’m working on bathroom and leash training. I’ve already mastered sleeping in my crate, and I’m slowly discovering what it means to just be a dog. Toys are still a bit of a mystery, but I am already starting to play with them! As far as treats and cuddles? Those I understand – and I adore.

I’m adaptable and open-hearted, so I could fit into many types of families. With a slow and gentle introduction, I get along well with dogs, cats, and respectful kids. My ideal home would have a yard and be in a quiet neighborhood, since loud noises and busy streets still scare me. I feel safest indoors, where I can relax and feel secure.

I’m ready to love and be loved. If you have room in your heart (and maybe a cozy spot on your couch), and you’re ready to offer me the love I’ve always deserved, I’ll be right here, waiting to meet you.
