Hi, I’m Kody 🐾
And I’m pretty sure I’m the happiest puppy you’ll ever meet.
I’m about 3 months old, around 15 lbs, and (according to the humans) some kind of Shepherd/Rottweiler mix… but personally, I think I’m just 100% good boy. My tail is basically always wagging—especially if there’s food involved (which… there should be).
I LOVE to play. Like, really love it. I do zoomies in the backyard, wrestle with my giant foster brother (he’s 100 lbs but I’m not intimidated), and I’ve recently discovered that leaves are extremely fun to eat and destroy. I’m also a big fan of chewing, tug-of-war, and honestly anything that keeps me busy.
I’m a smart little dude, too. I already know sit, down, touch, and crate, and I’m learning new things all the time. My foster says I have a little “puppy ADHD,” but I prefer to think of it as ✨enthusiasm✨.
Good news: I’m doing awesome with potty training (barely any accidents!) and I sleep through the night in my crate like a champ. I might whine a little when I’m getting used to a new place, but I promise I settle in quickly.
I’m also a great little road trip buddy—I ride in the backseat, lay down, and relax without whining. Pretty impressive, right?
I really love other dogs—especially ones who want to play with me. I’d be sooo happy to have a dog sibling who can keep up with my energy. I’ve met cats and I think they’re… very interesting. I might need some help learning how to be polite with them.
What I really want is a home where I can keep learning, playing, and growing into the best adventure buddy ever. I think I’m going to be a pretty active guy, so I’m looking for humans who are ready for that—and who will help me become the amazing dog I know I can be.
