Iris is a sweet, affectionate girl who’s ready for her forever family! 

There’s never been a dog who loves people more than Iris! She says hello to everyone she sees and will climb on your lap if you let her. 🥰

She’s about 4 yrs old and 55 pounds, does well on the leash and in the car, and knows her basic commands. She doesn’t need a crate – she has full access to the house and never causes mischief. She just recently learned how to play with toys and is having lots of fun playing fetch and tug.

She has some separation anxiety and may whine/bark on and off for about 15 minutes, and then settles down, and she is not destructive at all.  She would love to have her people work from home as much as possible but can manage being on her own when needed.

Iris could be a bit reactive to some dogs but got better after her training. Still, she would do best in a one-dog household where she can be your loyal companion forever!

She’s great with kids and would be wonderful as a family dog. She’s a happy girl who just wants to be around people ☺️ Iris can do a trial visit or temporary stay to make sure it’s the right fit!
