Description

Guy is a 45 lb. chocolate brown Terrier mix, approximately 2 years old, who is shy but gentle and loving once you earn his trust. He was found as a stray and rescued from a shelter, so he is working through some fears and nervousness, especially with loud noises and big trucks. However, he is smart and very treat motivated, and has made significant progress with leash training, potty training, crate training and learning commands (sit, down, stay, come, paw, roll over, and so much more!) in a short amount of time. He enjoys lounging at home, looking out the window, and taking naps together on the couch, but also loves going on long walks/hikes in quiet neighborhoods or out in nature. If introduced properly, he can be good around people and other dogs, but should not be in a household with small children. With continuous training and lots of patience and love, Guy will make a perfect addition to your family! We are a young, married couple who have a lot of young children in our lives, and unfortunately Guy would be better suited in a household without small children. Guy is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.
