The perfect size with the perfect temperament!
Franklynn
Hi there! I’m Franklynn, a three-year-old Beagle/Lab mix weighing about 40 pounds. I’m already spayed, in great health, and ready to find my forever family!
I’ve come a long way to get here. I was rescued from the well-known ESLR shelter in Mexico, where I lived among 400 other pups who were hoarded there. After being moved to another shelter, I spent two years waiting for my chance before coming to the U.S. and into a loving foster home. Since then, I’ve been thriving! I’m fully potty-trained and learned to use the doggie door in no time. I’m also crate-trained, do great on a leash, and am getting better every day at my off-leash recall.
I have a wonderful, easy-going personality with just the right amount of energy. I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to cuddle—being held or curling up in your lap is my favorite! I also enjoy playtime, whether that’s running around with other pups, exploring new places, or tossing around a stuffy toy. I can be a little clingy because I love being close to my people, but I’m not anxious and do just fine when left alone. I’m well-behaved when you’re away and not much of a barker (though I might let out a cute little howl every now and then just to say hello!)
I’m strong, athletic, and would make a great adventure buddy. My favorite things include going for walks, playing with stuffy toys, getting treats, sniffing around at the dog park, and spending time with both dog and kitty friends. At night, I love snuggling up in bed and being spooned – after all, it’s the best way to end the day!
I think I’d do great in an active home, whether I’m the only pet or sharing my space with other dogs or cats. I haven’t spent a lot of time around kids yet, but based on my gentle and friendly nature, I think I’d do just fine.
I’m just a happy, loving girl looking for someone to share all my affection – and a few good cuddles – with. Could that be you? My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
