Devi is the Best of Both Worlds!

Hi pals! I’m Devalina and I’m ready to bring lots of love and joy into your life! I’m a 5-year-old, 60-pound Labrador/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. When my family experienced some unexpected hardship I moved in with my foster fam. I’ve been with them since May and I’m ready for a furever family of my own!

I’m a playtime pro. Whether it’s a ball or my favorite toy, you’ll catch me first thing in the morning with my toy in my mouth. I’m a chill girl most of the time—but once that leash comes out? I’m all zoomies and excitement! Walks, belly rubs, and head scratches are my jam, but I’m also a big fan of couch naps and relaxing on the floor when I need to cool off.

At the dog park, I feel most comfortable with smaller dogs, but I do play with my foster bro, a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I was raised around little dogs and know how to be respectful, but when it comes to cats, that’s still unknown. Kids? I’m good with them—just haven’t had the chance to hang with the tiny toddlers yet.

In terms of training, I’ve got “sit,” “stay,” “come,” and “wait” down pat. Plus, I’m crate trained and potty outside like a total champ. I’m leash-trained and love a good stroll, especially when it’s time to chase some lizards or hop in the car for a ride (head out the window, of course!). I’m working on my fitness too, trimming down my summer bod one walk at a time!

I’m the best of both worlds: sweet, calm, and super affectionate, but also up for all the fun you can throw my way. I’ll be loyal, loving, and protective when needed. I’d do great in an active family and I love having dog buddies around, especially ones my size or smaller.
