Description
Cricket is a very sweet girl who loves her people and enjoys going for walks with them and cuddling on a sofa together. She is very fast paced and loves to play, so she would enjoy having another playful pup in the home or on a playdate. She can be a little fearful of new people in public and can even become a little protective and growl a tiny bit when new people get close to her space, but she just needs a proper introduction and some time to adjust, and once she knows you, she will love you and your family and friends! She would benefit greatly from socialization and training with people and dogs as she is incredibly smart. Someone will just need to have the time and energy for her needs. At home, off leash she is curious of new people, afraid at first then falls in love within an hour.
She was originally brought in an animal hospital after being found as a stray puppy and not having a lot of human exposure, so she just needs some patience and continued exposure to other people and dogs to gain her confidence. She is slowly getting better and is learning social cues to help her navigate the world! She is an excellent cuddler and is great in the car, so driving her to your work or for a hike is not going to be a problem!
Cricket loves the dogs she already met, and she is currently living with another dog in the house and loves playing with him. She has not met a cat yet and doesn’t know how she feels about them. She also has not met any kids yet, but with her personality, she is very likely to enjoy spending time and playing with them.
She is adorable and sweet and will be so tender to her new family once she knows them. She loves being held and plays fetch like a golden retriever! This girl loves her lambchop toy and would play with it all day if she could.
Cricket is very loyal and loves life. She has a lot of fears and needs a good amount of training to be more social in public settings, so someone has to be committed to her and her success. She would be the perfect companion for anyone who can give her the training she needs. She is so tiny, not destructive and goes with the flow. She’s also already vaccinated, spayed and microchipped!
Could she be your best buddy to enjoy life together?
