Meet Chula! Sweetness and sass in baked potato form!

According to my foster mom, I can best be described as a pocket shepherd, low rider, potato or bread loaf. Weighing in at 40 lbs, I am the perfect smedium (small/medium) pup. Because of my rough start to life, I am shy and timid at first, but I am also brave, so I warm up very fast, especially with treats! Takes me a little longer with dudes- just need more treats! Once I get to know you, I’m your BFF, your go to gal!  You’ll be blessed with a loyal and loving best friend (me) with the funniest, sweetest, goofiest personality. You’ll be smiling non-stop at my twirls, zoomies, kisses and sweet little snores.

When I first came to my current foster mom, I was scared of most things but with a lot of practice, patience and LOVE, I am now the Queen of the following things:

Walkies
Toys
Hikes (I’m lowkey an adventure pup!)
Kisses
Snuggles
Car rides
Staring into your soul
Learning new things
Loving my people
And too many more things to name!

I currently have a foster sibling who is very patient and confident and has really shown me the ropes; I look to her a lot to feel safe and confident in new situations. I would do really well in a home with another confident doggo to help me continue my healing journey. I’m great at sharing toys and space with any size dog, but I prefer a dog my size to play with.

I need a family who will have patience and compassion as I get used to my new home and my new people. We’ll be best friends before long, just please be patient with me.
