Because of Billie: Fundraiser & Adoption Event

Last month, The Animal Pad lost a very special soul—Billie.

Billie came to us in critical condition, our first extensive medical case, facing obstacles so daunting they seemed impossible. But Billie had other plans. She fought her way to health, found the most loving forever home, and lived the rest of her days surrounded by love. Her unexpected passing last month left a hole in our hearts—but her legacy lives on.

In her honor, we’ve created the “Because of Billie” Fund—a dedicated emergency reserve to help dogs in life-or-death situations. This fund ensures that when the unimaginable happens, we can act swiftly, compassionately, and decisively to give dogs and their families the best possible chance.
