Hi there! I’m Monty – a 1 year old, 12 lb, neutered male Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a nose ready for sniffing out fun.
I was found alone on a road. Sadly my humans never came back for me, but I got rescued and now I’m ready to find the way to my forever home.
I’m what you can call a social butterfly. I adore other dogs and get along wonderfully with all humans of all ages – yes, even the little ones!
I’m a medium-energy pup who lives for daily walks, outdoor sniffing missions, and exploring the world by your side. After our adventures, I’m all about cozy cuddles, squeaky toys, and relaxing at home with you.
I walk well on a leash and am highly food motivated, so training me will be fun and rewarding!
I’m still working on crate training and can feel anxious when left alone, so I may bark or scratch. I’d do best with someone who’s home often and can help me build trust and confidence.
I’d prefer a cat-free home and a calm environment where I can feel safe and secure. Loud noises can startle me, so a peaceful household would help me shine.
My dream home is with someone who is around often and can take me to plenty of walks and outdoor time. A family with a dog (or more) and/or kids to play with me would be a huge plus.
