An amazing companion!
Hi there, friends! I’m Bianca, a sweet and cuddly 5-year-old unspayed Lab Mix, weighing in at a solid 68 pounds. My journey hasn’t been easy: I was found all alone in a field in San Bernardino, and it’s believed that I was abandoned since I was wearing a jacket and still had my dog bed with me. I was so scared back then that I couldn’t even walk. But thanks to TAP, I got my second chance, and I’ve been thriving in my amazing foster home ever since!
I’m an affectionate and easygoing gal who absolutely loves to snuggle. I have a medium-energy vibe: I’m happy lounging on the couch, but I also enjoy going for walks and having some playful fun. My foster family says I’m super easy to care for – and they’re right because all I need to be happy is a cozy couch and some quality cuddle time! I do tend to forgot how big I am, so I’ll try to squeeze into any space my humans are in. Some of my other favorite things to do include playing with squeaky toys, chasing balls, playing with doggy friends, getting lots of snacks, and following my people around like the loyal shadow I am.
Training-wise, I’ve got potty training down pat and am working on crate and leash training. Since I’m super treat-motivated, learning new things is a breeze for me! I do have a little separation anxiety, so I’d thrive in a home where I can have plenty of company.
I’d do best in a home with or without kids (preferably sages seven and up since I don’t realize my size sometimes). I’d also love a home with or without doggy siblings – as long as they’re respectful, friendly, and not too “Alpha.” Slow introductions are always preferred to gauge how I am with the dogs. If you’re home often and want a loving, loyal companion, I might just be your girl! My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
